    Was this correct??

Did a PPT at a Glendale LGS recently and after DROS was told I needed to apply my fingerprint to all three copies (shops, buyers and SELLERS!) I tried discussing I did not believe this was correct as why should seller have my fingerprint on his copy but was told "it is what it is" and in order to proceed had to do it. Seller said he would just shred as he knew it wasn't correct also.

Am I wrong and the law did change (ca politicians are not the brightest) or does this shop just need a little training?

        Sounds like they need training.

Only the FFL copy needs to have the thumbprint and only one of the copies at that, although the only reasonable one to do is the pending DROS form.

The reason for the thumbprint, or at least as far as I know, is if the person is a prohibited person and gets denied, they can't claim it was not them as the thumbprint is proof that it was actually them.
