    I94 Denials

I'm starting to see an usual number of I94 denials that are requiring the person to appeal. Has anyone else noticed that?

In the past 2-3 months I've had 2 denials due to I94 issues. First guy is in appeal (currently has firearms) and is told it could take up to a year since he did the appeal with FBI/NICS (forgot what the federal appeal was). His reason was they told him his visa was invalid and that he is here illegally. If that is true, why isn't he being deported?

2nd reason the guy just got the letter and it's "other" as a reason so he has nothing much more at this point. He's going to appeal (also currently has firearms).

I probably do 2-3 I94 guys per month. Up until these 2 recent denials never had an issue. They always had valid hunting license and all their I94 Visa info. Some student visas, some work visas.. anyone else seen anything recently?

Probably not unusual since Homeland Sec. estimates there are roughly 416,500 aliens in the US today under expired visas. A comforting thought...

I believe they need at least a green card to buy a firearm. You know I94 is for anyone who enters U.S legally and does not mean he is allowed to own a gun.

I94 can purchase guns. Just need to have a valid hunting license for additional documentation. I have a few out here on Work and Student Visas.

In any case my latest customer that was denied just received Approval after Deny today. So there is hope. My other customer that was denied a few months ago is still in purgatory though.
