I have been doing my a and d books by hand and I was wondering what computer programs that are out there and cost if you no.thanks

Check with your inspector because most computer programs probably aren't what they want to see.

Check out ez arms keeper. it's ATF compliant. You can now use the esign feature without a variance.

It costs $350 if I remember correctly. The tech support is excellent if you need it. Integrates the DROS and the safe handling affidavit.

There you go. See our pawn system has ATF record keeping and we can use it if we wanted to, so long as it prints on legal size paper. We don't utilize it for an official record. We use a bound book and buy them from Amazon for around $19. We only use the pawn system as a checks and balances for our book should the situation arise where our book is stolen, lost, burned, damaged, lost, or grew legs and walked off. We keep our system backed up daily so we always have that if necessary. But honestly I love the hard copy book. Im old school and hate these fancy new electronic devices. (insert whacky government conspiracy here)

Hardcopy bound books don't crash. I have worked with computers for far too long to trust them and I know what it would take to make it less likely to lose any data, which is expensive.

We use AIM SI, works great does POS and A&D. Inspectors liked it, made it easy to look through and check.
