I sent in my renewal papers in Febuary. I recieved a reciept showing that they recieved it, but have yet to recieve the renewed license. Is this normal? Are any of you having problems like this? I haven't bought or sold anything in the last 3 years, but have been planning a trip to look for nice ones out of state. Any suggestions?

If you sent your renewal on time and they are just taking a long time to process it, call and request a Letter Of Authorization. They usually get it out to you in a few days and it extends you expired license for 6 months so you can continue to make purchases while they complete the renewal process.

It appears to be lost. Since my license was up on may 1, I was instructed to reapply like I was a first timer, so That is what I did. Hoping for a quick turnaround.......I love California, but I am afraid of its government.
