Bay Area FFL w/ AW permit?

Looking to grab a DSA SA58, but they won't ship one in compliant fashion (w/ mag release removed) for some odd reason. I am not looking to get the CA version because I expect to take it to a free state in the future.

Does anyone know a FFL in the Bay Area with an AW permit and a reasonable transfer fee? I am looking to bring my own bullet button and place on the rifle before DROS.

Ugh, these guys are being turds especially when I'm looking to drop $1500 on a new rifle.
God may have made men, but Samuel Colt made them equal.

Send me pics of your: Colt Detective Special, AMT Hardballer, pre-64 Winchester Model 70. I'm looking for them.

have it sent to an out-of-state FFL to have it californicated.

CADOJ has told AW dealers that their AW permit is not to be used to californicate AWs into CA-legal config and that their permit can be pulled.

plus, the renewal fee for the AW permit is based on the number of AWs that go through their books so receiving your AW means that they have to pay CADOJ more more next year, easier and cheaper to just go through a middleman.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

      I see. Great pic btw.

Any members here willing to do so? I've heard of a few members like audiophil doing out of state neuterings on mags. Any others? Only requirement is to not break the bank.

audiophil and EBR-works are the two that I know right now offering middleman AW-neutering services.

IIRC, it probably adds around $75 to the gun, $50 conversion fee and $25 re-shipping.

You are better just buying direct from me or EBR works so you don't have to pay extra shipping. PM me model you want. There are at least 7 models. I just converted an SA58 last week for a calgunner.
