So with the increase in the minimum wage, when is the limit to the fee for a PPT going to increase? When you consider the total time required to do the transfer it can end up being below minimum wage. Yes, sometimes people have their act together and it can all go quickly, but that is not always the case.

Yea, not going to happen. The state is not going to help make a business they want to go away profitable.

Even if you have your crap together an hour for a PPT is about normal after the start of DROS, internal audit during DROS, pickup, internal audit after pickup and then before filing away in the coffers. Not to mention the time spent during DOJ or ATF audit.

I would love to see what the state is willing to do for only a $10 fee!

I found local city signage interesting.. in my neighborhood I can get the gubment to install a sign for $8 (inclusive of sign and labor):

Now, I have to believe that is subsidized in some way by someone, but it doesn't say so I don't know from where.

I bet you lunch you cant get any place to make that sign for under $8.00 You know it probably costs them about $400 to install one of those anywhere in your city. Heck the saw blades to cut into the concrete cost more than the $8.00. Plus you need 3 city employees to install it.

1 to hold the umbrella, 1 to install the sign, 1 to do an environmental survey report to see what impact the sign has on local flora and fauna.

Don't have to bet me lunch! I was wondering how they did it for $8 too just for the parts. Maybe it's subsidized at the state or federal level. Dunno..
