Mag blocks

I'm unfamiliar with what is legal for making a standard cap mag a legal 10rd mag in ca. I have someone purchasing a firearm out of my personal inventory that has standard cap mags and they want to install a mag block making it 10rds. Input please.

The offer for sale was without the mags unless the person was exempt but if it is legal I'd just include the mags.

It's a bit of a gray area. Some say the block or a pin will be sufficient. Others say to epoxy the base plate. I don't think there's been a court case on any of it, but others will be here soon.

"They" cannot block the mags. You as the seller have to do it. It has to be made "permanent". Permanent isn't defined but as noted in the above post, those methods are considered adequate.
