Why not mail it to me post DROS?

While I understand that having me pick up a gun in person 8s good for business, I was trying to figure out which regulations require that I pick up a gun in person.

If I have gone to an FFL to start the dros and all the required paperwork is completed, why cant the firearm be mailed to me once th wairing period is over?

federal law requires that you sign the 4473 when you pick it up.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

..and that must be accomplished at the dealer's business location only.

Thanks. I was looking at the CA laws, no wonder I couldn't find it. Too bad ou can't deliver it to me under federal law then jail it under CA law.

You have to now sign the delivered DROS too which is new in the PC since 2014 somewhere.

As said, it is both CA and Federal law which require it. What you really want is the waiting period to be eliminated so that you don't have to come back. There is a court case about that.
