Anyone ever tried an FFL through a Virtual Office?

There was an old thread about this but it was from five years ago. Looking at different business models for an FFL and was looking into operating one through a Virtual Office. Does anyone have any experience with this or are there any reasons why you feel this might not work?

Virtual office? Like rent a room from Regus?

For one you need to make sure it is zoned correctly in the city. See if Regus will allow you to store firearms there and have them delivered.

I deal with Regus, Premier and other Virtual Office people daily. I do not want them to be responsible for any shipments I would be receiving.

So right, given that zoning wasn't an issue, I was thinking of just using the office space (office, conference room, etc.) to do transactions by appointment, with the office having full disclosure and understanding that firearms will be present and that I will be walking clients through handgun safety (noting all the wonderful metallic racking noises that accompany it).

I believe we're allowed to warehouse inventory in a secure place elsewhere and so inventory shipments will ship to a different location other than the virtual office.

I can also maintain paperwork via some form of a mobile system that is locked and secure.

There isn't really a way not to have firearms at the location. They'll need to be there when you start DROS so they can inspect it and there again when they pickup. Sure you can have them stored elsewhere but the ATF and DOJ is still going to require that alternate location to be ok by the city so why have 2 locations? Plus both locations would need to be available to the ATF and DOJ at anytime.

Also every time the guns leave the virtual office and go to the storage that in a entry in the A&D.

I am not following about your paperwork and mobile system. You can't keep your paperwork in your car. Paperwork has to be kept on premises.

You can't just rent a conference room to do paperwork in.

I originally looked into the idea and outside of the logistics that Baboosh mentioned the Regus facility I looked at said No Go. I found that all out within about 5 minutes when I called them and said what I wanted to do.
