Semi-Auto Browning BAR

I'm looking to pick up a BAR, and it being a semi-auto are there any restrictions on owning one now or in the future?? With all that's being pushed down our throats by CALGOV I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be tossing money out the window.... Thanks in advance for the advice.

Yes if the pending legislation is approved since it has a removable magazine it would be banned. I would buy it now if you ever want to get it.
