    help please stock sks/bullet button??

ive been reading here for awhile now and i just recently ran into some trouble that i cannot clear up, im hoping someone can clarify this for me, i just made an online buy for a chinese sks "not detachable mag type", after calling my ffl to let him know about it i was told i would need a bullet button? this confused me as to everywhere ive been reading it states i do not need one since this sks has the top loading "stock" 10 rd fixed mag

can someone verify this for me please

Find a new FFL, period. The one you have chosen has no idea what they are doing, and shouldn't be trusted for anything. How does he propose to install a bullet button on a gun that doesn't even have a detachable magazine? What exactly is he proposing be locked - the magazine that already is fixed in place?

One thing with an SKS that you need to make sure of is that it does not have the ability to accept a grenade launcher. The magazine is not the only issue with firearms to make them considered a so-called a-salt weapon.

You might want to check with the FFL again since it already has a non-detachable magazine, so perhaps there was a communication issue.

Chinese dont have grenade launcher to my knowledge. If its fixed mag then its good to go. Search for the calguns flow chart and show it to him....or move on to someone else.

Only grenade launchers are on the Yugo models but the FFL is an IDIOT. Go someplace else because he has no idea what he is talking about and is trying to screw you out of some extra money or is just stupid and clueless.
