Of course they can advertise on Gunbroker.com. I have bought through them many times and EVERY time the sale was completed through a FFL.

I would answer YES they can list firearms on Gunbroker.com as long as the transfer goes through FFL's.

Everything I've seen, read, and heard so far seems like more of the same for us. People out of state may have some changes coming, but for us, I think it's all the same... I'll wager that all the out of state online sites post the FAQ very soon because I'm sure they're getting bombarded with questions orders of magnitude more than CA FFLs are.

About the only difference for CA is the additional healthcare stuff - but I doubt that will pass due to HIPAA regulations. Honestly, on that one, I wouldn't mind someone who is collecting Social Security Disability due to a severe mental illness to have to jump through some additional hoops to buy a gun, but that's just my personal opinion.

I don't know if that ATF doc covered everything discussed Tue. It's unclear if advertising on Gunbroker = advertising like a business would which would mean the seller needs to be an FFL. I didn't see where that ATF doc defined what "being in the business" means. From the speech it sounded like no minimum quantity and had to do more with how the seller advertised their items. Many FFLs use Gunbroker to advertise so someone could make the argument that anyone advertising there is "in the business" depending how strict the new definition of that is going to be.

ETA: or is all that redefinition of "in the business of" political babble and didn't make it into the doc?
