Gun Shop Insurance

I know it has been discussed a little bit before but I am looking for insurance for our retail location and was just curious I know it is hard with certain carriers and many won't cover at all so who does everyone use. Looking for the best priced option at this point as we have not a whole lot of inventory so not too concerned about covering losses but need to have in place for the property owner. Northland Insurance is one of the only places who does pawn shops. I bring this up because they insure us for amounts on pledged and unpledged jewelry and firearms, then pledged and unpledged hard items. I tell you this because our insurance specifically mentions firearms. They probably do retail firearms stores. Check them out.

I have them for personal collection and business.Two separate policies under two separate names but same address.

I had to list all personal guns that were over $10,000 to get them added with appraisals.

Business guns go off retail so was not needed.

No I do not have them for my liability. I carry a separate 2mil umbrella policy.

I figured that . I'm looking at using them for the enhanced firearm coverage depending how much I save on my current policy if I drop the firearm/inventory coverage from that.
