*sigh* Even though I knew this day was coming it still bums me out. Bob and I talked about it this summer and I was happy for him was getting out, but sad for all of us. He has been a great field rep. We all have been very lucky to have him. Bob has always been very fair and went out of his way to provide us with needed information.

I wish him all the best and something I rarely say about someone from DOJ....I will miss him.

He is a good guy, but there is actually another person who deals with the certified list, which it seems like most at the CA DOJ does not know exists. She can work wonders and get things fixed, one time within 24 hours.

What a beautiful thing when a retiring civil servant is reverently spoken of during his last days in office. I can think of no greater tribute to the man's career than the respect expressed by those he was charged to regulate. The thing is Bob has always been fair and followed the law, and that is all most of us are looking for. We all sure hope you trained the newbies well Bob!

Happy retirement Bob, he was a no BS guy who was willing to help and teach. He was firm but always fair when we had to deal with him.

            happy retirement.
