    FFL dealers

Ok I have a interesting question about dealers as myself. Now I can't obtain a ccw with it being a 1 year wait and wondering if there is anything in the pc that exempts us for carrying concealed publicly or do we have to go through the whole process and hope we don't get hurt to and from work because I know place of business it'd freely thanks.

I don't even know what made you think you may not possibly need a CCW because you are an FFL.

I have had some oddball of the wall totally from left field thoughts and ideas bu t even this makes my ideas seem logical.

Well I was reading this penal code and don't understand it to well. Reading this just had a question about it

25615. Section 25400 does not apply to, or affect, the possession or transportation of unloaded pistols, revolvers, or other firearms capable of being concealed upon the person as merchandise by a person who is engaged in the business of manufacturing, importing, wholesaling, repairing, or dealing in firearms and who is licensed to engage in that business, or the authorized representative or authorized agent of that person, while engaged in the lawful course of the business.

Ask someone if CCW permits loaded carry and if 2615 concerns unloaded carry. Then get an explanation of what loaded means for purposes of carrying concealed. I realize that one law firm's internet article says that a licensed firearms dealer is exempt from prosecution under the carrying a concealed weapons law. See its note 36.

It would also need to be 'merchandise' ... whatever that means. I suppose it would be pretty clear cut that a personally owned weapon isn't merchandise.
