Shop doesn't open for another 2 hours. The shop answering machine is full, I have over 60 new emails from when I checked at 11pm last night, and security cameras show people have already started showing up and reading the hours on the door.

We are a tiny shop 45 minutes away from San Bernardino. I can't imagine how busy the bigger shops that are closer to the area will be today.

Strange thing I have noticed compared to other "panic" times, people are not so interested in ammo stock up or rifle buying. They want concealed carry guns and info on how to get the license.

We are making up a document now to print out today with the contact information for all of the local police and sheriff departments. It's just easier then trying to figure out where each curious customer is from then looking up the LE contact info over and over.

Hijack on your thread to. Not sure if its ok to even post this but I am and if not one of the Mods can remove this. But my friend is an 07 dealer out in Arizona we ordered some of his AR's that he makes. They are real good quality and he can Cerakote any gun to customer's requests too. He has decent dealer pricing for the types of guns he is making. He's a small outfit but the quality of his firearms are top notch. He's bringing my order I placed with him last week out to me tomorrow. So if any of you FFL's are looking for somebody selling CA compliant AR's here's his website. I hope it's not related. We get calls for traces all the time but we have been selling guns for a very long time so our name comes up.

I've had two of them in the last 18 months. Pretty common. Stuff gets sold then stolen a lot. I'm sure ATF had to trace my handgun that was stolen that I got back. Or maybe it was in the AFS.

Yup, we just spent 14 hours counseling first time buyers, urging them to get training and become comfortable and familiar with their new purchase before even considering carrying.
