Transfer to Range/FFL- Can I use their range?

I am getting an out of state transfer done at an FFL that has a range. When I go in to dros it, is there a law preventing me from firing it at their range while I am there? Probably is, but I thought I would ask.

No laws but possible FFL policy.

No there is no law against it. At The Gun Range in Sac they call it a conjugal visit, and they encourage it. It doesn't matter if it was PPT, out of state transfer, or bought from their inventory - you can come anytime while it is in jail and shoot it on their range.

Cool. I'll ask and see what they say. 10 days won't feel so bad if I can visit. lol

Yes, I've heard of many places doing this. I've even heard of some FFLs who deal with NFA stuff out of state will sometimes go out with their customers to shoot their NFA firearms while they are waiting for their stamp to come in.
