We use Weebly but we have not activated the ecommerce portion. We use intuit for CC/debit sales and they are slow to process the payments but its convenient.

We got the pitch from NFDN but it seemed like a we were at a used car lot trying to buy a car...

We are 3 months in having Outdoor Business Network build ours which will have a live inventory from distributors.

Does Outdoor Business Network get you access to distributors you are not directly set up with? Also, does it have an easy way to filter CA approved firearms? What is approximate monthly cost? I browsed their website, but couldn't find it easily.

          Thanks!

This is my biggest issue. I have yet to find a way to separate the California guns from the rest of the distributor stock.

In my current homegrown zen cart I can do that as orders come in / label them. I noticed it's harder on distributor feeds even when I see guys using NFDN which I can see leading to a bunch of unhappy CA customers..

The other issue I had with NFDN was that they didn't get me access to additional distributors. I'm wondering if OBN would get me access to Acusport and the other distros on their website that I am not setup with since I'm not a storefront.

Their backend is BIG, it allows you to do a lot and I am still learning it and screwing it up.

Our demo site is up and we are starting to tweak it and I learn the system if you want to view it:

Please remember it is still in development and I broke it twice this week.

FYI, you are not required to collect sales tax on every firearm shipped to you (from your website).

i had volusion, its easy to use and add stuff to but very expensive i was paying $134/mo. for it tried the $75/mo but ended up getting out of it due to costs and actual sales from it and not being able to get real time inventory from distributors. exporting was a pain in the ***. they allow you to use your own CC processor, at the time i was using eprocessing network which wasn't bad. now i switched to BOFA and don't have a monthly fee and lower rates since i bank with them. as far as website I'm working on zencart at the moment but its not as straight forward as volusion.
