Had a question are you able to use picture message for car registration and fsc proofs from customers or does it have to be printer copied?

Well they haven't picked up the firearm yet but they were wondering if they can email me a picture of the documents

You need to see the FSC/HSC prior to submitting the DROS. You need to make a copy of that. If they don't come back, then you won't have a copy, which will be a problem.

A copy of the registration email should be acceptable, but it is always best to see the original to ensure that it has not been modified.

Well it's for a family member and he was just asking if it was possible to email a copy of them and or at least the registration

Well, it is the law. You don't violate the law for family or friends. You need to see the documents.

Ya I haven't started the dros yet it was something that came up and asked if it was possible for when he comes down and I'll have documents already

He has to physically be in your shop to start the paperwork so just have him bring the document in. It's not like he would be making a special trip.

Yes, he could send the documents in advance, but you need to check the original and make sure that the copy is actually the same. It really does not buy you anything to do that and in can take more time to ensure that the copy is the same, as well as having to store it until he comes, then get it with the rest of the paperwork.
