Bound Book Disposition if FFL Dies???

I looked on the ATF website but did not find any specific info. My dad is the executor of his best friends estate. The best friend held a current FFL, what is supposed to happen to the FFL records (bound book, 4473's, etc.)?

    Thank you for the help!

All the Records will be turned into BATF. If need be you guys might want to start boxing up 4473's ahead of time.

Now this will only happen if your fathers friend was the only person named on the FFL. If he was the only person named then I would suggest contacting your local BATF field office and reporting the death. They will walk your father through the process.
