    Quick help

On the roster they list the North American arms NAA 22 mini revolver.

    1. why is this on the list, it's a single action.

    2. I just had a unannounced delivery of the NNA Hogleg. This looks to be the same gun just with a much longer barrel it is also single action. This is not on the list.

    My question

Is their any reason I can't dros the hogleg as it is a single action even though they have the smaller single actions listed on the roster.

I think I might have just confused myself.

It means NAA did the testing required and pays the fees.

Because the barrel is under 3", you cannot be SAE if not 3" Barrel and 7.5" OAL. Just because it is Single Action does not mean it is exempt. Same as just because a pistol is Single Shot doesn't make it exempt. It has to meet the requirements of the exemption or be added to the roster by doing the required testing and paying the fees.

You can SAE any of the NAA revolvers that meet the 3" and 7.5" OAL requirement. The barrel is the hardest, OAL is easy.

You can DROS the Hogleg no issues, it meets both requirements.

LMAO.. you would have loved it. The guys unpacked it then brought it over to me to have me look at it wondering if we could accept it. I just stared at it blankly for about 20 seconds. Long enough for them to question if they had finally broke what was left of my brain.

Last week I knew why the NAA was on the roster....somehow in a few days that data was lost. It might have been a few gin and tonic's on Monday night.

I was talking to KE6GUJ one night and I made a comment and his face instantly shriveled up and he shook his head and said what?! I instantly knew I was wrong about something lol. I had my facts crossed and he had to set me straight. I knew it was wrong but for some reason I combined two things into one

Sometimes we just need to be shaken out of it

I just got back from Arizona yesterday hunting. I stopped in a gun shop and they had all models of the NAA's on display in a gun case. I almost cried. Last week IIRC, I only saw two Cali approved NAA models on the list. Such cool novelty ""jewelry class" guns that I wish we could purchase all of their models currently produced.
