    Dros worksheet

Had a question about dros worksheet what is the difference from using dros worksheet than using a 4473 form for a customer to fill out away from office or no Internet connection present?

4473 has nothing to do with DROS form or DES entry form.

If you havent yet realized the state and federal documents are different you are going to get in trouble. Both forms require the customer to sign under penalty of perjury. Dros needs thumbprint. How are you going to get that if you dont do both?

I almost feel like you are messing with us. Have you hired Kemasa yet? That might be the only way you will not get your license revoked at first audit.

If this is really going to be a business it will be one of your best investments unless you like soap on a rope.

I would take the advice you have been given here and hire someone to help you get up and running. I have to agree you seem to be having problems understanding the basics of this business.

If you fail at most new businesses you will loose money and pride.
If you fail at this one you could also loose your firearm rights or your freedom.

I think it's time to invest in some backup.

Please please please take the advice here of the people here and get a consultation. This is not a 'oops' field, an oops can cost you everything.

No one knows everything but you are having an issue grasping the basic fundamentals that are required in this industry. If you do not 100% know these basic fundamentals after already receiving your FFL then you are in for a world of hurt and will cause headache to those who buy/transfer through you.

Call Kemesa and pay him, he will walk you through everything. He will tell you what you need to know. You do not have just basic questions, you need to be taught from the start. We are not saying this to be mean, we are trying to help.

What you don't seem to be getting is that it does not have to make sense, it is the government. What has to be filled out, has to be filled out, even if it is close to the same. It does not matter anything other than the law requires it.

It might be stupid, but it is still the law. If you don't get that, then get out before it causes you serious problems.

I don't feel like we are getting through to you on any topic you ask about.
I'm not sure we can help you at this point. Probably the first time I have ever said that to someone in the FFL section of this site.

I think that is a great idea. You have quite a way to go before you are ready to start doing firearms transactions. Remember not only will you get in trouble for doing it wrong but you could also be causing a headache to your customers later.

Have you had your onsite inspections?

ATF will come out before they issue your license and go over federal regulations. You get to ask questions on this one.

DOJ will not come before your CFD is issued but will within 1 year of issue date. DOJ doesn't really come out and tell you how to do it, they will just make sure you are doing it. You don't get to ask questions, if you are doing it wrong you'll know very quickly.
