Customer moving back to CA from Alaska - whats the process?

I have a customer that moved to Alaska for a time and is now moving back. He wants to ship his guns here to me instead of hassling with transporting through Canada and just pick them up from me when he gets back into town from the drive. What is the process for this. Does it need a DROS since they are all his personal firearms already?

He should send them to you for cleaning (gunsmithing), otherwise you would have to DROS them and for handguns there is a limit of 1 in 30, plus the firearms have to be on the certified list. If it not for gunsmith work, then the DROS process would have to be used to return them, with all that implies.
