FFL transfer fees

There are some who charge really high fees because they don't want to do a transfer and don't realize that it would be better to just say that they don't do them.

This is what a lot of people miss. When my last dealer closed I picked my current one because of transfer price + service reputation. While I originally picked them for transfer price, realistically the only time I order online to ship is when they can't get something. I always check local before I buy and most of what if buy is through the FFL not online.

Price gets people in the door, service keeps them coming back. High transfer price isn't good service....or frankly good business. The only reason you have high transfer prices is because you expect to never see the customers again.
