    Gifted firearms exemptions?

What exemption do we use for DRO'Sing gifted guns? Is the individual accepting the gift exempt from the 30 day wait if there are more than 1 handguns being gifted?
    Thanks!

I assume you are DROSing using private party transfer (PPT).
PPT is exempt from one in 30 except in the city of Los Angeles.
If you live in LA, go somewhere else.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Sorry, heres some clarification. Mom is out of state and is gifting her son in CA 2 off roster guns (G43.) I was told they may be dros'd as "Exempt" handguns, but I was unclear if they're exempt from the 30 day wait.

        Thanks!

          They are roster exempt.
I do not believe they are 1-in-30 exempt unfortunately.

Interstate intrafamilial handgun transfer IS exempt from the Roster but IS NOT exempt from 1-in-30.

Also make sure they are 10rd blocked mags, or have mom take mags out.
