    Non-CA FFL/SOT Suppressors in CA?

Can an FFL/SOT from outside CA transport a company owned suppressor when visiting CA? My impression would be yes since CA SOTs are not prohibited from having them and SOTs may transport NFA items across state lines at will.

The SOT is a federal thing so I don't believe there is a state restriction. I think there have been people who travel to different states to hunt with them.

An out of state SOT would be fine with AOWS and suppressors in CA.

Not possible without a CA dangerous weapons permit. Tough to get. Ask me how I know

MGs require a CA DOJ Dangerous Weapons Permit for MG.
Applies to both CA residents and non-residents of CA.

              Only differences are:
Renewal fees cost less for out-of-state permit holders.
No inspection audits by CA DOJ BOF on out-of-state inventory.
