    Big Bore Pellet Rifles

Does anybody have any experience with these things? From what I can tell they are designed as hunting rifles and shoot .45 pellet rounds. I recently had a customer come in and asked if we sold these. I had never heard of them and he pointed me to a website http://www.topairgun.com/45-cal-air-rifles to check them out.

My question is such. Are these things regulated by BATFE? Are they considered an AOW? Are these legal to own/ operate in California? Does somebody need to purchase these through an FFL? He seemed to indicate that they can buy them directly online and have them shipped. I am ignorant on this subject and I figured somebody on here may know about these things.

Quackenbush has been used to take down a variety of big game.

      Comparable power to a .45/70.
