    Need FFL recomendation - L.A.

I'd like to purchase a handgun from out of state (it is on the CA roster) and have it sent to an FFL in the West L.A. or Sherman Oaks/North Hollywood area to DROS.

The brick-n-mortar stores I've contacted will not do the transfer (they want to make the sale, which I understand, but don't have the handgun in stock and don't know when it will come in). The FFL I generally use has been unreachable.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Are you willing to drive to Simi Valley? The sales tax rate is 7.5% here, which saves you money.

OP- have you contacted aegis traders in Burbank? They are awesome about online transfers and ppt's. Awesome guys. Only place I like to do ppt's. Don't spread FUD, while holding a good convo while doing paperwork.

Thanks for the recommendations. All good, but... Burbank is 15 miles away (which equates to an hour drive-time each way). The 30+ miles to Simi Valley would only take 45 minutes via freeway to get there, but I'd have to pack a snack for 1 1/2 hour drive home. I was hoping there is an FFL not far from me where I can travel to via surface streets (less then 20 minutes).
