Zanders won't ship non rostered pistols?

I just tried to call and order a non roster pistol and they said they don't ship non roster pistols to ca? Any of you guys have this issue?

There are a few holdouts that don't know the law or care to try to understand it. CDNN is one, at least as of about 8-9 months ago since I last tried to order from them.

Some distributors require a blanket letter stating that you'll only be selling them to LE. Some even require a letter for every single gun. The one I'm thinking of, Lew Horton, has relaxed that if I remember correctly. I only dealt with most of the pain-in-the-*** distributors during the post-Sandy Hook rush when inventory was hard to get. Now that things are fairly back to normal, send the business elsewhere that doesn't have a chip on it's shoulder about CA.

Do you just order from the website? Does any non roster guns say no sale to ca when you log in? Mine says no sale to ca. I'm looking at a springfield emp 40.

They all say so sale in CA if off roster but if you call in and talk to someone they should get it squared away..... I don't have a good rep like with other vendors so I called and they set it up

hmm must be the person I talked to. I called this morning and the lady was rude and said no they cannot sell or even write up an invoice since it says "no sale in ca".

Spoke to another rep this morning and he told me the same thing...they can't sell non roster to CA.

Man I am not having the best luck I guess. That's two reps now. Are you guys just calling the general sales line? The rep this morning says that other dealers are lying to me when I said other dealers are able to purchase....

Thanks for the help Baboosh! Finally got it squared away and I was able to submit my order online.
