At any given time over half the people in my shop are armed. I honestly don't even think about it much, other than the CCW license is one less piece of paper I need to fill out when I DROS a gun for them.

Those with CCW know what it takes to become a permit holder, and so no issue for me, as I know 1st hand, mite even feel safer, if someone was to get the drop on me, I would have some kind of back up, or at least an extra surprise for BG.

As to vulnerability. Never let you guard down and ALWAYS watch their hands and body language CCW holder or not.

CCW , LE all have been known to go nuts.

I am more worried about the person that comes into my store dose not talk looks all around dose not buy anything and leaves

It's your shop, so you're obviously armed yourself, right?

At my shop, I dont care. Though I do think it is a little corny for these guys to be so happy to talk about it. The guys who want to show me make me a bit worried. Concealed means concealed.

I will say we have a rule that if your CCW is leaving your holster for any reason (other than defense) when you are inside the shop you have to come to one of us first. You will clear the weapon in a safe area under supervision. You will reload under the same rules.

We had to start this after a new CCWer pulled his loaded weapon to check holsters.

So yes, always be watchful.
