Smith and Wesson "U" sku

Hope this wasn't covered in the A mark thread....

Called DOJ compliance today about the Model 69. Roster says 162069U. We got a 69 in with no "U" after the sku.

DOJ compliance puts us on hold and comes back after talking with their tech department. Apparently the U is a typo and was placed there by accident. It still shows on the roster as of this posting but she assured us it would be fixed.

I am not a FFL but I wonder how long it had been that way (and possibly costing sales of Ca. legal guns to consumers like myself.) and if anyone else had noticed it before you brought it to their attention.
