I think the bigger question is:
'Why does God allow children to be born outside 'His' personal flock'.

All religions indoctrinate their children (and I do use that in the pejorative), so it is unreasonable to say that 'man' has free will when 'the child' has already been indoctrinated.

Is God intentionally handicapping a majority of the population because for these people, the only option is conversion (to the 'correct' religion) and if you think it is an easy answer, consider how difficult it would be for you to switch to another religion. (close to impossible for most).

So, next, one should ask, why does God put a majority of humans on a path destined for failure? Was it due to prior actions? (that opens up the re-birth thing and that is an ever bigger problem).

The only way we get answers to these questions is via free thought, but, by definition, the indoctrinated don't have free thought (well, they think they do, but they actually don't).

I am by no means suggesting that there is no God. There is. But IMO Man created God (in his own image)..

Free will is a joke. We only covet free will because we are programmed to want it. Ignorance is bliss. For 1000's of years all of the B.S. humans have suffered has been for the benefit of free will. God doesn't "allow" children to become prostitutes. God has checked outta this place a long, long time ago.

God has told us his name. Yahweh. Which means I am who am. You can look at it as an equation. I am = who am or I am = everything. If God is everything then God is truth. Just as science follows certain laws our actions follow certain laws. These laws were revealed to us. If you follow the recipe you will have a fruitful life. If you don't, it may be at your peril. As a parent, if you give your child everything they want, how do you think they will turn out? But if you make your child earn their way through life they grow to be strong and develop self confidence, etc. Free will is a very important factor. So if God loves us would he make everything perfect or would he allow us to develop and learn and in the end grow to love him. Struggles in life are opportunities for us to grow, bless ourselves and bless others. There is more meaning to life if we choose to do right and if we fight to do right.

God's will is the light. The darkness is the absence of his will.

All the struggles of life are opportunities for us to chose the light or the darkness.

It is no stretch of the imagination that these poor children are a result of their parents making horrible decisions and for the "adults" around them making horrible decisions. But there are people out there who open their hearts and try to bless them the best way they know how.

Punishment for our sins goes beyond ourselves. Look, if you had an alcoholic father or grandfather, you are probably still suffering because of his actions.

Indeed, the damage in such a case can be clearly seen. The damage wrought by generations of laziness can be seen in the inner cities today. Generation after generation paying for the choices of the generation that came before them. Abusive parents often raise children who become abusive as well, and so on.

Interestingly, "generational curses" are 'limited' to four generations - meaning that the repercussions for one generation's actions will typically be resolved by the time their great grandkids are around. However, this cycle can repeat indefinitely if each generation keeps making the same mistakes - as each generation resets the 4 generation limit.

Sin and rebellion produces causalities and some of those are innocent bystanders.

Really? So what choice does the kid sold into sex slavery have? Can the kid choose to leave her employers and live a moral upstanding life...........no, she leaves and she dies. They kill her or she starves. So tell me, how does a drug addicted child prostitute choose "the light".

Yes true but you have some that deny that evil even exist. Those to me are the worse cause there blindness or lack of thought hurts us all.
