    Do Animals Have Souls ?

And if so. Is there a place in Heaven for them?

Well think on it this way. They can think, feel, show emotions like love and show intelligences so would it stand to reason that they would have souls?

I don't really know enough about animal psychology to have an intelligent conversation about it. I would wonder if animals indeed have souls, would that be an argument for evolution? Is there any religious texts that refer to the souls of animals / other beings aside from references as gods?

No souls. There are animals in heaven mentioned in the Bible but not the ones that died and went to heaven.

We are created in the image of God and imparted with a soul. God breathed into Adam life. The Bible only refers to animals being created like the plants, or earth. Everything created was a mighty wonder of God, but nothing like His creation of man.
                Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Definitely do. I know the dogs I've had have more soul than most of the animals walking around on two legs.

"if there are no dogs in heaven then when I die, I want to go where they go."

                    - Will Rogers

Billy Graham had a similar quote but because he was never as funny as Will Rogers, I don't remember it.

My personal belief as a pet (owner), companion, and hunter is a resounding YES to both of your questions.

animals don't have souls. that's why we eat them.

It's written somewhere in the Bible that they don't have souls too

Animals can think? I don't think so...Instinct yes, think, no way.

I don't see a dog standing on the side of the road thinking, if I walk across the road I could get run over.
