The Coming Great Tribulation. The Suffering will be Unimaginable!

Matthew 24: 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time,no, nor ever shall be.

Revelation 9: 5-6 ... in those days, men will seek death but will not find it ...

I take comfort that God will spare us Christians from that "Day of God's Wrath".

Only if you choose to think that the rapture will happen before the tribulation

Can we stop these kind of posts? Isn't there a religious forum that you guys can post on without cluttering CalGuns and causing bickering from the religious and the non? Really folks, why CalGuns? Go post this stuff on Craigslist, Facebook or somewhere else...

I wonder if the believer will be spared? I hope so but through out times believers, read about that the apostles went through. Seems Christians have never escaped the pain of the evil one. I wonder if it is a test for you faith, Frightening when you think about it,
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

The Bible provides a number of examples of where God's people are sparred His judgment, and I believe those examples serve as an indication that God's people will not have to go through the great tribulation. Remember the great tribulation, is God's judgment, it is not from satan.

RandyD is correct! We- the believers will not be a part of that "Awe-Inspiring Day" or "The Wrath of God". The tribulation is a future event that God set aside for unrighteous people. Read some of the Scriptures below:

2Pe 2: 9 Then the Lord knows how to deliver people of godly devotion out of trial, but to reserve unrighteous people for the day of judgement to be cut off.

                  1th 1: 10 ( Jesus delivers us from wrath to come )

1Th 5: 9 ( God assigned us not to wrath but salvation through Christ Jesus )

                      Bingo!

Amazing where people will go to be "offended".
After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..

I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..
"911 = false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition. 47 floors came down in 6 1/2 seconds - not hit by a plane. Just one of hundreds of absurdities that occurred that day. Wake up".

One thing we always need to realize is that we are not God, and while we walk this Earth, we cannot conceive of God's actions.

As some of you know, I'm enrolled in RCIA to become Catholic, and I have two astounding catechists. It is interesting to see that as our understanding of the universe increases, Catholics are adjusting doctrine to account for the knowledge.

                          For example.

My father died back in April of this year. He chose to be cremated. As a new student of faith, I was concerned about my father being able to reunite with his physical body after the rapture. I looked up in the Catechism that cremation will not exclude you from a place in God's house. So just this week, I asked one of the catechists about it. Here is what he told me.

Why would you think that God is not capable of resurrecting your body from ashes? God is capable of SO MUCH MORE than we can even imagine. Even if your ashes were dispersed throughout the universe, could not God still recreate you?

My point is, God is full of grace and mercy. Yes, christians suffer and are even killed for their beliefs. I do believe however, that those of great faith and works, will be spared much suffering in the end times. Jesus took care of that for us.
