Religion and Spirituality are your own!

I've been reading this forum for a bit and I only reminds me of how staunch people are in their beliefs.

No one knows if there is a one God, no one knows if there are Gods, let alone which is the "right" God.

Through my short years, I've learned one little thing.. It's called "The Golden Rule".

It applies to everyone and it works. No religion can dispute it. Basic humans can't dispute it.

For some reason the Tower of Babel comes to mind..

So you come on this forum and read a bunch of the things said here and then decide to go on a "Stop acting like you are right in your belief" rant? I hope/pray that one day in your "short life", you might just come on by this forum wanting some enlightenment or knowledge from the Bible. Take er easy chief.

Well this forum is titled Discussions of Faith, which can include any kind of faith or the lack there of. It is no bad thing to share beliefs, ideas, and knowledge. It is great practice for dealing with people with whom you disagree in a productive manner.

And the Prepper forum is always good for info and discussion too.

I agree. I just don't agree with the way he went about his rant. Yes, our beliefs in God are our own, but so is your idea that no one can really know. If I believe that God really exists, I will say "I believe God really exists." The Tower of Babel was man attempt to reach God. And yea, religion is man's attempt to reach God. That is why I dispute saying what "my religion" is. I'm a sinner saved by grace. The Bible clearly shows that salvation is God reaching down to man and offering to us what we could never attain ourselves. Eternal life.

I hear ya. I was more addressing OP's apparent surprise that there is a faith forum, or that people like to talk their faith. I am always happy to discuss my religious beliefs, and when it contradicts someone else's, I love to explain why I believe as I do.
