    youngsters and church

So first off i have to say i have never been very religious myself ,dabbled a bit while young even went to catechism for a bit as my family used to be devout catholics , it just was not for me......

but i want my children to make their own choices ...

my lil ones (6y/o and 8 y/o in sept) just love going to there "good news club" and with school ending i have been thinking there must be some other church based programs for youngster

now i have seen signs in my area for "awana" but know very lil about it or any other programs that might interest and hold the attention of my kids

so asking folks here for any advice/suggestions

    thanks for any info .....

I grew up in a great Bible believing church that still has Awana clubs. It's a great program for youth of all ages. They have lots of activities for them. Including physical games. I'd encourage you to go with them and just see for yourself and meet with the leaders. That might help you be more comfortable.

Awana is great. All my kids love it. I think it just ended but next year I would recommend you let them try it out.

I'll be praying that God shows you something.
