To be fair, it’s not a position that can stay empty for long. I’m sure that the likely candidates have been positioning themselves since Francis got sick.

Apparently he’s less keen on the gay stuff but is big on immigrants. Middle of the road candidate. Not a MVGA pope unfortunately.
