The Prosperity Gospel is gaining popularity again in poorer nations. Places that are impoverished, like the Philippines. And it’s taking off. How can these preachers prey upon the poor like that? We really are in the end times. We should be offering the hope of salvation from sin in Christ, not preaching about material gain in this world.

My filipina MIL is all into Joyce Meyer and Joseph Prince and has been following them for about 20 years or so. My wife and I talked her out of following Joyce, but my MIL clung to Joseph because he "represents the Asian community."Comment
