    the Tiny Bible

Tiny Bible project finished up this summer. Kickstarter had censored Tiny Bible fund raising because of what is said starting at 3:00 into their video.

    Information
Here’s the story of the original miniature Bible printed in the late 1800s, and why we are remaking it for today’s generation of readers.

I wonder if people actually use it or it's a novelty item...

That?s what I thought. Personally, trying to flip through pages of a tiny book like that would be a PITA to use.

Nobody serious about reading a Bible is going to read from this sales gimmick. It?s just way too small for any practical use. Playing with the pages of God?s Word in order to make a Buck shows no shame. Instead, give something to people that they can use with ease and practicality.

I have one my grandfather got back in WWI from an English soldier. It?s in rough condition, but quite legible still.

It?s a replica of a military issue Bible. I assume it?s KJV, good to go for a bugout bag. I read the about linked (thank you, OP for sharing it). They don?t seem to be in it for merely making a buck, they have had friction from Silicon Anus due to the ?controversial? and ?offensive? nature of the book to their religion.
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

Very interesting. I wish I could see it in person.

I thought of the Gideons when reading the info on the tiny Bible. They say that it?s for smuggling into repressive countries but it?s expensive and in English. It would seem to make more sense to print it in Chinese, Arabic, and Persian. The Gideons seem to have the cheap small Bible market cornered, hard to beat free.

Yes and besides, how is anyone going to read that thing? I get so intolerant after just trying to read the tiny fine print on the back of an allergy med bottle for 10 seconds. Again, this thing is a novelty and a waste of money. It would get tossed into a “junk drawer” by most people, after arriving in the mail.
