    Attitude of Gratitude

growing in the knowledge of God taught me to be thankful everyday. each day that you come home safe, be thankful, who knows if God saved you that day or protected you that specific day without knowing it.

i also learned to be happy and be content with what we have. took me a long time to understand and appreciate how liberating to not be materialistic and come to realization that everything you have will be left here on earth when you die.

i more aware and pray more for our persecuted brothers and sisters here in america, in china and under communist countries, in pakistan and other muslim countries, in india and the rest of the world.

the world is getting wicked and dark as the Day of the Lord is nearing. i'm fearful but excited for our Blessed Hope. wife and i are aware of the signs of the Last days and are looking up and ready to meet our Lord in the air when we hear His command "Come up Hither!"

see you all brothers and sisters when we meet our Savior soon.

Well said. I could not have said it better.

The older I get, the more I realize that what I own is about to be taken from me. It is meaningless to acquire material items. When I see people acquiring material items, I realize that is where their heart is.

Barang ... you are both amazing and right. We deserve nothing, but He gave us everything. Praise the Lord Almighty!

Many Christians feel they struggle to know Gods will for them all the time. You've figured out how to be in his will for you daily!

"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

brothers, sisters and joy no longer just empty words. i feel the connection with you fellow christian when i use the word brothers and sisters. the joy that i feel is amazing that it lift my spirit up when i'm down due to worldly events.

His word is life, source of strength and encouragement, gives direction and correction. most of all, the Hope we are assured of, as we are waiting for the reappearing of our Savior Jesus Christ.

                God bless Brothers and Sisters.

"there are two ways to be happy: get more, or want less"

If you exist with gratefulness over what you already have, you're less apt to be wanting more and more.

Remember what Paul said, "Whatever state I am in, I've learned to be content". I try to keep those words to heart.
