    If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth. - Ronald Reagan

    I frequently listen to John MacArthur's sermons on YouTube. I was not aware that Newsom had put up billboards in other states and used our Lord's words to support abortion. I will pray for his salvation as requested.

      i don't know how they can be saved when they (like pelosi, biden) already know what the Bible says about killing babies, gay marriage & transgenderism. they disagree with their own church (catholic) by blatantly rejecting God and actively promoting baal's way.

      Deuteronomy 4:2-3 nkjv
      2 You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. 3 Your eyes have seen what the Lord did at Baal Peor; for the Lord your God has destroyed from among you all the men who followed Baal of Peor.

          John MacArthur & king Gavin on CNN back in the day

          In this clip, king Gavin says "[...] I'm a practicing Catholic. I got married in the church..."

            ^^^ it's very apparent that their god (baal) is not the God of the Bible, "you will know them by their fruits."

              Romans 20:19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
              For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

              Understanding the above verses, I sincerely prayed for Newsome and several other democrats to be saved. If they accept we gain a brother. If not, then the Lord, in His timing, will deal more harshly with them.

                Jeremiah 7:16 kjv
                16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

                there's a difference between people who are willfully rejecting God's Word and those who are lost.

                the baal worshipper are ignoring God and they do what is right according to their flesh. they have knowledge of the Word of God but chose to reject them because the lust of the flesh is paramount to them.

                  I've been reading a book about Jonah by Tim Keller and listening to the accompanying series of messages which were delivered before and after 9/11/2001 in NYC.

                  As part of that I listened to a message titled "Those Who Cling...Forfeit the Grace". This message was delivered on 9/30/2001; it covers Jonah 2:1-3:3. You can listen to it free since they released it on their podcast a couple of years ago.

                  I will openly admit, I usually listen to Keller's messages three or more times, for a variety of reasons. This one is pretty dense, but he makes a key point, about how there are really three kinds of people: religious people, irreligious people, and Christians. Without getting into the differences, he says (around 30 minutes in):

                  Originally posted by Tim Keller

And though you are no better than anyone else, really, come on, let's face it-- you're no better than anybody else-- you are now irrevocably loved, you are utterly loved, you are completely loved by the only person in the universe whose opinion counts, which means on the one hand, you are humbled by grace-- because, you're only saved by grace-- and at the same time, assured by grace, that God is absolutely for you, no matter what. So you're humbled and bold together. What's unique about the gospel-based identity is that humility and confidence intermingle. In fact, they actually are mutually self-supporting.
                  The quote makes much more sense in context, and though I can't speak for anyone else, I will say, when I consider someone like king Gavin, and I agree, I'm no better. There, but for the grace of God go I. Praying for Newsom, and even Joe Biden, is commanded of believers.

                    Isaiah 1:15 kjv
                    15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

                    how much more prayer needed for these people who already know the Word to open their eyes? they even go as far as going against their church! they even use the Word of God to justify their lust for killing the babies and gay marriage and trangerdism. what can God do to open their eyes when they're already given the truth and they are now using the Word to justify their wickedness?

                      The thief on the cross shows that there is still hope for anyone on this side.

                        the thief at the cross acknowledged his sins and repentant. he was not rejecting God but surrendered to Him.

                        gavin, pelosi and biden are rebellious and continue to trample and reject the Word of God. they are making God a liar and telling Him He is wrong on abortion, gay marriage and trangerderism. these are the people who reject the teaching of their own church.

                            I think it can be argued that the sin king Gavin is guilty of is what Prager talks about in this video. In essence, king Gavin is committing evil in God's name, the worst sin a person can commit (under the law of Moses, quite possibly still).

                            Christians are not under the Law of Moses, but we are under a higher law, the Law of Christ, and this commandment is most definitely still a part of the Law.

                            It is a clear Biblical principal that knowledge creates responsibility, and by his own admission, king Gavin is a self-proclaimed Catholic. But I also believe God can save anyone He wants, even this man, even Joe Biden. I'm not holding my breath, but nothing is impossible for God.

                              of course there is nothing impossible with God, that is a given. i'm not arguing that. my point is for the people who are exposed to the Word and NOT ignorant of what God calls sin but chose to reject Him and twist His Word to support their rebellion. consider below:
                              Joshua 24:15 nkjv
                              15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of [a]the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

                              Psalm 5:6 nkjv
                              You shall destroy those who speak falsehood;
                              The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

                              Romans 1:24-25 nkjv
                              24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

                              Romans 1:26-27 nkjv
                              26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their [a]women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the [b]men, leaving the natural use of the [c]woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

                              Romans 1:28 nkjv
                              28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
