If you put time on a number line, then 'today' is always one day closer to the end. So yes, we are constantly moving towards the End Time events.

And Garand Hunter is right, the USA isn't mentioned in Revelation. I think our current mood towards Israel definitely moves things along.

I get the reference to the earth groaning and travailing from Romans ch 8. That has been happening for 2000 + years.

Remember Matt 13 tells us that the wheat and the tares will grow to maturity along side each other - right up until harvest time.

And in 2 Peter 3, he specifically says that in the last days "scoffers/mockers" will come.

He says no one knows the "hour" specifically. Which is metaphorically to be understood as the season and exactly when... but he also says that we will know from the signs he said that it is coming sooner and sooner.

I don't just judge it based on the current event of the USA. Look at what is happening in China, Australia, France, South Africa, etc etc. There are very few places that aren't falling into dangerous paths.

A communist country that rules over 18.5% of the total world's population is set to become the major super power very soon. That enough is disturbing.

No one knows the time. On the other hand, the world is truly ripe for the second coming. We are told to be prepared. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened as I type this.


I find myself in a strange place. After a lifetime of struggle my fleet has landed. It is easy to be enticed by worldly pleasure. Funny timing, eh?
