Regardless of the feedback, there IS only ONE DIETY. Almighty God YHWH, in english we say Jehovah God Almighty. And His son we call Yeshua, In english we say Jesus. Disagree, help yourself.

The specific header of this "specialty forum" is "DISCUSSIONS OF FAITH". Making it NON SPECIFIC as to which faith. And therefore inclusive of all faiths. Or so I took it to mean.
Every American Citizen, is guaranteed religious freedom enumerated in the First Amendment.
Which is exactly what I meant by "NO MATTER THE DEITY". I feel all True Constitution Believing Americans. No matter their personal religious belief. Should pray for our Nation and President. Meaning Trump at time of posting. And America for all time.
My intent was solidarity among Americans. Not to invite a semantic pissing contest on what to name a personally chosen deity.
My Grandmother called him "ALL FATHER". She was a "Born on the Rez" member of the Choctaw Nation. In the late 1800s. And a Christian. I never once tried to tell her, she was calling her God, by the wrong name.

She wasn't calling HIM by the wrong name ! Almighty God or however you say or type it, was and is the father of all human beings beginning with Adam
(Awdam ) and all born since. Whether you or anyone else denies that is what separated anyone from Him being All Father. Deny Him, you just became a person separated from Him. Whatever your reaction is to what I just typed is up to you.

We also have a First Amendment right to express our beliefs. You simply do not understand that by being inclusive you are offending the true God. He is a jealous God, and He is not honored by you characterizing Him by any other means other than what He has written in the Bible, and wanting to include non-living gods is an affront to Him. BTW, praying to non-living gods is not going to result in a blessing, because they are non-living gods and have no power.
This is an opportunity for you to open your eyes and seek the true God. The choice is yours.sigpicComment

I don't frequent this subtopic often as I'll get in over my head, but I read something that was interesting and pertinent to this thread I think.
Based on the evidence that we have, Jesus was either a liar, a lunatic or the Lord.
That's a good question considering how many different faiths/peoples acknowledge Jesus' existence as a "good man".
But his proclamations don't really leave room for any other options as far as I can tell. I'm confident that I've done my due diligence and consider him Lord. But a good man?
There have been a few to claim what Jesus claimed, and I would easily consider them lunatics or liars. Jesus? Not so much.The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Funny how some people can't seem to hear anything without feeling offended.
My deity doesn't give a rat's a** about the president or me, for that matter. But I like your idea and appreciate the sentiment. Sorry that some people can't seem to put aside their own religious zeal for a second and just appreciate heart-felt desire for good in this world. Cheers to you!Comment
