Do you ever just not care??????

Work on giving all the hate and anger up and forgiving the ones who gave it to you... Pray for them. Our purpose is to live and love like Jesus did. Just randomly opening a Bible and start reading is a good place to start...A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you may never need one again. -
Perhaps take a SERIOUS reading of II Peter chapter 1 verses 1 - 11 several times may speak to YOU personally. It has to me different times in my life.
Praying for you !

I know how you feel, Ive been struggling for the past year. Ive had betrayals in my family, Because of religious reasons. My cousins that i grew up with since we were 4 or 5 years old basicly gave me the finger. And i never even stated anything religious to them. But now i have no friends nobody, except brothers and parents. Just seems like nothing matters anymore. But i wont give up, i try to have as much fun as possible, fishing, hunting, cars, ect. I will pull threw, and hopefully you will too.The 2nd amendment was ment to if necessary revolt against a tyranntical government. If you are not willing to stand up for your freedoms, then you have no pot to piss in. There is zero reason to having 2nd amendment rights if you do not intend to use it like it was intended to be used by Americas founders.Comment

All of us go through this in our walk with Christ. We are sinners. There is no point when we focus on ourselves. The point of life is to glorify Him. Because it is in Him that we have life. Otherwise you are right. There is no point if not Christ.Psalm 103

The most important thing to remember is that you are not alone in your feelings. Many people, Christians or not, go through feelings of inadequacy, despair, anger or frustration. Sometimes it is hard to see the good in life because your focus is on those things that impact you the most. It is not only the problems in life that bring despair, the good things can be equally discouraging if they do not give you joy and satisfaction.
I went through a bout of depression a number of years ago and it left me completely flat in the midst of my family and my job. Although in public and with my family I was on top of the world, when I was alone in my thoughts I was most miserable. I found out later I was low on seratonin in my brain and I ended up taking a 5-HTP supplement which i still take 30 years later. It enabled be to sleep and to gain some balance.
In addition, when I find myself going back there, I immerse myself in the Bible, especially reading about David and in the Psalms. David had every reason to be bitter and angry because the king was pursuing him for no reason other than he had been chosen by God. When I read how he dealt with the situation, fleeing from place to place and yet still focusing on God instead of his own problems, it gives me hope as do the Psalms that he wrote, many of which were composed when he was on the run in the desert.
Keep seeking Him, keep praying even though it doesn't seem like He is listening, vent your anger and your frustration to God and don't hold back.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Phi 4:6-7In an emergency, always dial 1911.Comment

i think humans need to be loved and needed.
if you don't think anyone needs you, go out and find somebody or something that can use your help.
you may find another reason for living. good luck.
i don't consider myself religious. i have not received the gift of faith.
that said, the charity jesus preached about is extremely rewarding ime.Comment

Our pastor just had a sermon about this as he was feeling similar this week. He said he was taking a break from the news and social media. He also said that he started trying to actually have a conversation with 3 random people a week to see humanity again.
Have you thought about volunteering with any organizations in the future? There are so many organizations that could truly use your help! No matter what skill set or age you is there are people that would love to meet you. You are Valuable and a intricate piece of Gods plan sometimes it requires prayer and a little foot work to find your slot!Comment

I’m with you on the anger thing. Used to have great hatred, for what I don’t know but it has only through Christ that I have been able to change. It was not me as I would never pray for my enemies.
Reading Habakkuk really changed things for me. Writing out his concerns to God and praying over them and essentially handing it over to God really struck me. I have done the same and find myself going back and giving it over to Him.
Disengaging from the media has helped too but really giving over to God help save my marriage and family and has tempered my anger greatly.Comment

Hopelessness is a normal feeling. I've had it many times myself. Find a therapist. All the wise council on the internet won't be of much use to you. Find a qualified therapist. F*&# the stigma or any pride you may or may not have about seeing a therapist and just do it.Comment

Nothing new brother.
I'm not trying to make light of it. Rather, know that you're not alone and others have gone through it or continually struggling with it.
"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." 1 Cor 10:13
I've gone through an angry phase and I took a group self-help workshop (200 people) that got me out of the funk. It wasn't a Christian-based workshop, but much of the concepts were relatable to christianity. I highly recommend doing therapy either solo, with your wife or in a group.
What got me out of the funk was being grateful. But before reaching that conclusion, I did a lot of therapy work.Comment

What?
I wish for all criminals to be dead. Also all Government officials that do not respect our constitution shall be immediately removed from office. The people that want to control our lives, shall ask us for permission. You do not have to be good to people, just be fair and equal. Do not do as I do, Do not do what I say, Just be yourself, as long as you do not physically hurt anyone.
