It's good to not have to live in fear of death. I haven't feared this virus for many reasons, the promise of Jesus being just one. Seeing how many people out there right now are fearful is telling though, shows how many people are not ready for death. This is another opportunity for others to turn around and come home.

People going to church instead of staying home is making the situation worse. I don't care if you want to take the risk but you are putting everyone that you come in contact with, and everyone that they come into contact with at risk. Christians are not exempt from calamity. Christians get cancer at the same rate as atheists, Christians get in car accidents at the same rate as atheists. Churches get destroyed by flood, fire, hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes just like the building next door.
Putting faith before science isn't just hurting you, it could hurt all of us.

The idea of Christ was to demonstrate that the body is a temporal thing, not of God, but of the ego, the separated mind of man. In this context, Christ knew that his body did indeed return to the dust in which it arose, but was merely form like everything else. The content (spirit) does not die, can not be threatened, is changeless and eternal. So, faith in Christ isn't a guarantee that bodies won't die. They all die. But minds are where Christ consciousness is perfectly intact without a body. God never made a guarantee to protect your body, he guarantees your spirit is eternal like His. There is no "fear" in God's creation.
