What Does it Mean to be a Christian?

Christ is not a behaviorist. He is a heart surgeon. He replaces your heart of stone with a living heart so that you can do what He asks. The only thing you bring to your salvation is the sin that He removes. Be careful about making demands on what it is to be a Christian. We may be saved but we are still miserable sinners who can do nothing to save ourselves.

Admit your sin(s), believe in Jesus and accept His sacrifice, choose grace.

Of course if you are not facing imminent death, live showing others the grace that God has shown you...
