Thanks for the prayers !
I am alive and well with one heck of a stiff neck.... Have to say the hospital at Travis AFB is nice !
They even sent a Chaplin up to see me...
they cleaned out the goo in my artery.....then gave me a egg/cheese burrito with bacon on the side for breakfast ...lol.... the very nice LT. nurse and I had a good chuckle about that .

We had a long drive to get there ... they offered us to stay at a place called "Fisher House" , way cool place for people to stay while waiting for or after surgery (limited of course) and it was free ! we left a donation the help out.... commune style with your own room ... I always here about how bad the VA is...well they ... like all of us ... are not perfect (only one perfect being) but I got to give them a 2 thumbs up on this , 5 weeks from when they found the problem to fixing it ...The VA and the DAV will always have my support !
