If Jesus's little rebellion hadn't been crushed by the Romans, would he have been every bit as warlike as Mohammed? That's a rhetorical question, of course. But it's something to consider when you read some of his quotes in the gospels.

Not all who pray to Allah are Muslim. Praying to "Allah" just means that your native language is Arabic. I attended a protestant service in Bethlehem where the entire congregation prayed to Allah. Arabic-speaking Jews do the same.

Personally, I fear fundmentalists of any religion. American Christianity has their fair share of fundamentalists as well. They're just kept in-check by a government that is mostly secular. Thank God!

That was an over-the-top, thank you Lord that I'm not a sinner like him type, cringe-worthy prayer.

Yet, doesn't diminish the reality that Democrats hate Christians so they got an opportunity to stick it to them with the reading of the koran. Since the enemy of my enemy is my friend, they'll gladly align with the Muslims even if their values contradict American values.
