Well, it’s Tuesday morning and in about 2 hours I’m “off to see the wizard,” for my second biopsy. You know it’s really kind of funny but every time I post here about my situation, it seems surreal, like I’m having this out of body experience and it’s not really me that I’m writing about.

Anyway, this should be the last time they actually “dig into my melon.” Once they find out for sure if it’s a 3 or 4 then they’ll decide which procedure (s) to use. With any luck nothing will be “scrambled” and I can post in a few days and let you know what happened. God Bless!

Well, I’m going in for that second biopsy in anout 2 hours. Should be the last time they actually dig into my melon-once they find out exactly what it is I believe they’ll then be using other procedures. This all seems so surreal, like I’m writing about some “3rd” person. Oh well, I’m leaving it up to THE BIG GUY.
God Bless all of you! John Henry

Well, it’s Wednesday, July 4th and I got back home after the procedure at about 3:30, still in one piece and no additional slurriness or weakness-so far so good. Now we have to wait for the evaluation and possible remedies. Ironically, the head doesn’t feel too bad but my cervical stenosis is now kicking in with some pain. With both locations so close to each other it’s kind of hard to decipher exactly what is hurting. But all in all, I’ve had a good day. Goodnight and God Bless!

Your example to your fellow brothers is amazing. Here I sit, complaining about my job and my first world problems. You are battling cancer and have the faith and strength to encourage others. Impressive. You are in my prayers, sir.

Will keep following the thread and more importantly, will keep praying.

Sending prayers your way and asking God to steadily provide you with the strength and understanding that you have already displayed. Also sending thoughts and prayers to your wife and daughters. Based on your outlook and what you have already mentioned, God is already at work and shining thru you! Your faith and humbleness is inspiring, to say the very least! And just like colossians323 said, "THE SPIRIT IS OVERFLOWING IN YOU, BROTHER!!!

Keep us posted and best of luck with everything!

John.I want to encourage You to come for prayer and healing. I go to a church where healing and being set free from addictions is common. I was just recently healed from a hernia. There are quite a few in our ministry healed from cancer. "These signs will accompany those who have believed" SERIOUSLY !! Bless You John ! https://forerunnertv.com/

From a medical standpoint there’s really nothing too dramatic to report. I had that 2nd biopsy procedure July 3rd where 6 pieces of that “bugger” were removed for analysis and we’ve scheduled an appointment July 10, for the consultation. I was pretty impressed with the entire procedure, I actually had a team of 3 anesthesiologists all come in and see me before putting me under! The fact that I had no additional physical side effects as compared to the first procedure was also pretty amazing.

To be totally honest, there’s a very small part of me that just wants to run thru a brick wall screaming, “why me Lord, why me!” But then I just settle down, look at my hands and feet-don’t see any expiration dates- and I think, “ok John, it ain’t over, till it’s over and God has all these plans for you so just kick back and enjoy the ride!”

I mean, who knows what could be changing in any one of your lives by reading my posts, my other friends and family, watching me go thru this process? The ramifications just could be endless, kind of like looking at the backside of a tapestry-looks all garbled until you turn it over and see the beautiful woven product. I don’t mean to be “waxing all poetic” here but I just gotta believe!

I certainly don’t believe that God wants me to give up. He knows how stubborn and what kind of fighter I am and hey, who knows? Maybe a “little miracle,” could just be around the corner?” Anyway, God Bless you all!
