William Freidkin was director for these Academy Award movies: The Exorcist and The French Connection. Last year he was in Italy to receive the Puccini prize for his work in opera. While there, he met with Father Amort who is the official Vatican Exorcist for over 30 years. Next week Friedkin will release a new doccumentary on real exorcisms.

Friedkin said tonight that the latest "DSM4 and DSM5 (American Psychiatric Association's standard classification of mental disorders) now include "Dissociative Identy Disorder Demonic Posession".

I believe that we as Christians are under under attack by the preternatural- the best defense is knowing that the ENEMY not only exists, but is active in this world trying to pry us from GOD’s Grace into a state of constant sin and a lukewarm existence.

If there are any doubts as to reality of possession, I don’t fault anyone. Very few people have brushes with the inexplicable and most people don’t believe what they themselves can’t even imagine.

People get suckered into opening up themselves and giving permission for a demonic entity to occupy their body because they either don’t believe in the possibility and the start dabbling with the occult, like using divination or ouija or “spirit boards” or start playing around with Wicca or satanic spells. The Devil and demons are fallen angels, and they are still wiser than us because they have the knowledge of ages never having been born as a lowly human being.

There is a test for the demon possessed, and it is taking a blessed sacramental like a blessed crucifix or consecrated Eucharist, and SECRETLY placing it in close proximity to the possessed person. They always react violently. The devil is like a broken record. Profanities against Jesus Christ, God and His Church ( all of His Church, meaning all Christians ), the Virgin Mary, etc. the goal is always the debasing of the human being and having them ultimately kill themselves or others, by coercion and go to Hell. The person is rendered helpless and fully under the control of the possessing spirit. The devils end game is having more souls turn from Gods sacrifice and Grace from Jesus’ Sacrifice..

Remember that the devils greatest deception is convincing the world that he’s only a figment of the fantastic, the imagination, but Jesus clearly shows his reality in this world.

Other signifiers is detailed knowledge of things the person shouldn’t know. Ability to speak languages they’d never known FLUENTLY. levetation, crawling up walls and ceilings, complete change in personality ( even acting betrays our personality). A stench or foul odor like sulfur or rotten eggs pervades the area of the person with no explanation. Knowledge of the priest or helpers sins ( if they did not go to Confession). Many times these sins are used to attack the priest and helpers. Not all of these manifestations occur all the time, and many times it is very subtle or aimed at the real target of the demon, whether it is the priest or other person in the family or social circle of the possessed.

The Church doesn’t take this lightly and always has people evaluated by a slew psychiatric professionals ( preferably atheist or agnostic) who must ALL then clear the person of any psychosis before the Church determines even the remotest possibility of possession with their own series of tests. Sometimes it takes weeks or months, before getting clearance, and out of 1,000 cases, maybe one is genuine possessed. The complications arise when there is possession disguised as some psychosis.

There are three levels of possession recognized by the exorcist, infestation ( like hauntings ) , oppression, where the spirit starts torturing the individual and coercing them into cooperation, and then possession where the invading spirit takes over. ( this is the reason it is dangerous for psychic mediums...there is no way they can easily discern if what they are communicating with is a human spirit or inhuman preternatural spirit posing as a deceased person or ghost). It is dangerous and taxing work to be an exorcist , many die early deaths, because it is under the divine work of Charity since the exorcist literally has his life shortened with every encounter. Sometimes the attack is physical and many times by supernatural means, ie internal slashing, cutting of organs or muscles, or picked up or thrown by some invisible force etc.

There was a recent article involving a possessed student who crawled up the walls of his doctors office to the ceiling here in the United States...of course it never makes waves....who do you think controls the media?

(The globalists, the deep state, these are people who not only believe in luciferian principles, many of them are straight up satanist, who use a abortion and war for satanic human sacrifice because even satanist know, despite defending planned parenthood, that unborn babies qualify as human beings.). There is a contingent of people who are, what’s called Perfectly possessed...in this case, the person willingly gives up their God given will and becomes possessed, without the soul struggling for freedom against the invading spirit, thus there’s no outward clue of possession or that there’s anything wrong. These people are walking safe places ( from the usual torment I guess) for the demonic and perfectly resigned to their fate.

Look up bohemian grove. You don’t have to believe this, but it’s better to be prepared by thinking that there is always the possibility.

Better have a defense against the devil and not need it, than not having a defense against the devil and ultimately needing it. Knowledge is power in this case and Faith and humble Obedience to God is everything.
